Visit us for Kindergarten transition

Want to know more about your child’s first year at school? Our Kindergarten orientation program supports a smooth and confident transition for children and their families.

In Term 3, we host parent information sessions that explain how the transition to school works and how you can support your child.

In  Term 4, new Kindergarten students join classroom visits with their future teacher to get to know the school and feel ready to start.

Upcoming events

Gardening with grandparents

Date: Friday, Week 4 and Week 8 of each term.

Grandparents are invited to garden with their grandchild and enjoy time together in our school gardens.

Star Struck 2025: Remixed Volume 33!

Tickets on sale Tuesday 29th April from 10am @ticketekaustralia

The annual Star Struck performing arts event for Newcastle, the Hunter and Central Coast is back. Performances will be held at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June 2025. It is a showcase of dance, drama and music performed by students from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a vast network of NSW public schools.

After school LEGO workshop

Dates: 8 May - 3 July 2025, Term 2
Time: 3:15pm – 4:15 pm

Students build, create and explore how machines move using LEGO® in this fun, hands-on workshop.

Book Week

Dates: 16 - 23 August, Term 3

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Date: 7 September 2025, Term 3
Time: 4:30pm - 6pm

Information sessions

We host information evenings for families in Term 3 as part of our Kindergarten orientation program. These session help parents and carers get ready for their child's first year of school.

Transition visits

In Term 4, new Kindergarten students join short classroom visits to meet their teacher and get ready for school.
