OOSH (Out Of School Hours)
Before and After School Care, better known as OOSH (Out Of School Hours) operates at the school every school day. OOSH opens at 7 am prior to lessons, and after school, provides care for children until 6 pm. OOSH is a not-for-profit service, operated by the Manager, supported by the P&C.
OOSH is housed in a heritage Gothic building, within the school grounds. It is particularly valued by parents who have a long working day, or who have study commitments outside normal school hours.
There is a charge for use of OOSH services, the fee to be paid directly to the Manager. Most families also qualify for the Federal Government subsidy, known as the CCB (Child Care Benefit), which can effectively reduce the cost significantly, depending on parental income level.
How to Access Services
Families must first register with OOSH, and there is a small registration fee which covers insurances
